Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) can today confirm some amendments to the fixture list at Central Park Stadium.
From the week commencing Monday 2 August, Central Park will operate with five fixtures per week with Wednesday morning dropped from the schedule. There will also be a review of our Sunday evening open racing and our open race schedule from 15 August will be published in the GBGB calendar shortly.
ARC Greyhound Operations Director, Rachel Corden, said, “Since we have taken over of Central Park, we have been keen to review operational procedures to make sure that we have the best commitment for trainers, as well as the opportunity for our team to prepare the racing surface to the highest possible standards. As such, we have taken the decision to drop Wednesday morning from the schedule, in conjunction with our colleagues at SIS.
“We are putting together our open race schedule from Sunday 15 August and we have some Invitation Races scheduled for 1 August”.
