Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Arena Racing Company Limited (“ARC”) to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

We are committed to:

  • Acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings
  • Implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against modern slavery

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include:

  • Catering and food suppliers
  • Beverage suppliers
  • Hospitality and facilities providers
  • Cleaning and security services
  • Temporary staffing and recruitment agencies
  • Merchandise and event suppliers
  • Technology and professional services

We recognise that certain sectors (e.g., food production, hospitality supply chains, temporary labour) present higher inherent risks.

4. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

ARC have:

  • Reviewed supplier categories to identify higher-risk areas
  • Required key suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • Included anti-modern slavery provisions within supplier contracts where appropriate
  • Continued to work with reputable recruitment agencies and labour providers
  • Ensured right-to-work checks are conducted for all employees and casual workers

As a result of these practices, we have not identified any instances of modern slavery within our operations but remain vigilant.

5. Policies and Governance

The following policies support our commitment:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Whistleblowing Policy
  • Recruitment Policy
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy
  • Supplier Terms & Conditions

Employees are encouraged to raise any concerns via our confidential whistleblowing arrangements.

6. Training and Awareness

We ensure relevant managers and HR professionals are aware of:

  • Indicators of modern slavery
  • Escalation routes
  • Responsibilities under the Act

We will continue to review training requirements and incorporate modern slavery awareness into management development and onboarding processes where appropriate.

7. Measuring Effectiveness

ARC monitors effectiveness through:

  • Supplier due diligence checks
  • Internal audit and governance processes
  • HR compliance reviews
  • Monitoring whistleblowing reports

We will continue to strengthen reporting and supplier engagement in higher-risk areas.

8. Ongoing Commitment

  • Further review supplier risk segmentation
  • Enhance contractual protections where required
  • Review training coverage for relevant operational managers
