Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) and Doncaster Racecourse are delighted to welcome Marathonbet as sponsors of the November Handicap, the traditional closer to the British Flat season.
The Brighton based firm, who are headline sponsors of the Brighton August Festival, expand their racing sponsorship portfolio to Doncaster for the first time. The Marathonbet November Handicap, run over 1 ½ miles on Town Moor, is broadcast live on both At The Races and ITV4 and was won in 2017 by Ian William’s Saunter, ridden by Jim Crowley.
Dan Towse, Head of Sponsorship at Marathonbet commented, “We have been really pleased with the way our sponsorship of Brighton’s August Festival has gone over the last two years, so are very happy to expand into taking the November Handicap, a hugely popular race in the British calendar.
“We’re really delighted to be involved in the final sign off for British flat turf racing for the year, and particularly the November Handicap, a race that our customers will really get their teeth into”.
Director of Partnerships at ARC, David Leyden Dunbar said, “It has been a fantastic year of flat racing at Doncaster, and we’re delighted to welcome Marathon Bet to the November Handicap, a race that will no doubt offer a fitting finale to the season”.
