Yorkshire Glory has usurped Aisling Oscar at the top of the AW Bonus Horse of the Year standings and Ben Haslam’s runner could secure the £100,000 first prize with victory at Wolverhampton on Monday.

Aisling Oscar led Francesi by three points at the start of last week but could only finish fourth at Newcastle, while Yorkshire Glory notched his fourth win in a row to jump from third to first with a points tally of 268.

Yorkshire Glory, Aisling Oscar and Francesi each have one qualifying run remaining, while fourth-place Mr Nugget has two left and could mathematically take the spoils provided other results go his way.
