Ben Haslam’s newly crowned AW Bonus Horse of the Year victor Yorkshire Glory is set to receive a further £23,333.33 alongside Goldmoyne and St Faz as the March/April competition reaches its conclusion.
The James Owen-trained Goldmoyne was the first contender to notch three wins for the qualifying period on March 20, with Yorkshire Glory and Adrian Keatley’s St Faz drawing level on March 23 and March 26 respectively.
Heading into the final week, Bergamo Gold was the leading candidate to join them on 75 points. However, Charlie Johnston’s runner could only finish third at Wolverhampton on Monday and is now tied for fourth on the leaderboard.
Goldmoyne, St Faz and Yorkshire Glory share a combined first place prize of £70,000, with a further £35,000 spread across the other top 10 finishers.
