23 February 2026

Al Najashi and Beauzon head the standings as February’s AW Bonus competition enters its final week, although several contenders will have the opportunity to match their tally of 75 points.

A winner at Lingfield Park on February 7, three-year-old Al Najashi has relished the subsequent step up to seven furlongs for Ollie Sangster, scoring by 13 lengths at Wolverhampton and just over three lengths at Newcastle.

Beauzon has won five of his six starts in 2026 for Ian Williams, with his February haul consisting of two wins at Wolverhampton either side of a success at Lingfield Park. This run of form has moved the seven-year-old up to 17th in the overall Horse of The Year standings.

Six horses have 50 points from two starts so far this month, with five of them due to be in action at Southwell this week as they compete for a total bonus pot of £105,000.
