Marry The Night and Zariela are the horses to catch as the opening segment of this season’s £1m All-Weather Bonus concludes on Sunday, November 30.
With £35,000 in bonuses up for grabs, both horses have registered a win and two seconds during the October/November scoring period and top the standings with 61 points.
The Sean Woods-trained Zariela won a Southwell handicap before a pair of runner-up finishes at Lingfield Park, including nearly causing a 125/1 upset in the Listed BetMGM Fleur De Lys EBF Fillies' Stakes.
Marry The Night meanwhile has made three consecutive handicap appearances at Southwell for Tim Easterby, following up two seconds in October with victory at the course last week.
Young Endless heads two contenders who could yet end the period with maximum returns of 75 points, with Kevin Frost’s stayer going for a third straight win at Southwell on Wednesday.
The Jim Goldie-trained Spun To Gold, a winner at Newcastle and Southwell last month, also has a 100 per cent record and returns to Newcastle for a six-furlong handicap on Wednesday evening.
Nine horses have notched a win and a second from two appearances so far in October/November, with seven of them holding potential engagements across the week.
All horses listed below have run twice during the October/November period and could accrue a minimum of 61 points if they win.
