Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) today confirms the acquisition of the lease to operate greyhound racing at Mildenhall Stadium near Bury St Edmunds.

Reverting to its original name of Mildenhall Greyhound Stadium, ARC will take over the greyhound racing operation from May 2026.

Exact details of the number of fixtures, and the weekly schedule will be confirmed in due course, but all greyhound racing will be broadcast via Premier Greyhound Racing (“PGR”) from this date.

Whilst Mildenhall Greyhound Stadium will sit within the ARC group of venues, day to day operation will be overseen by Simon Franklin, Director of Great Yarmouth Stadium. Scheduled speedway and stock car racing events will continue under the separate operation of the landlord of Mildenhall Stadium, Spedeworth Int Ltd.

Mark Kingston, Director of Media Technology & Production at ARC said, “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of the lease to operate greyhound racing at Mildenhall Stadium. Working alongside Simon Franklin, we look forward to racing from Mildenhall joining Premier Greyhound Racing upon the start of the lease in May next year.”

This announcement follows on from greyhound racing from Towcester joining the PGR schedule in November 2025.
