Taking place over four days, the famous Doncaster Betfred St Leger Festival features the final Classic of the revered British Flat racing season – the Group 1 St Leger Stakes. Saturday's Betfred St Leger Day is one of the must-attend UK horse racing fixtures of the year.

Prestigious Live Horse Racing 🐎
The highlight of the four-day festival, the Group 1 Betfred St Leger Stakes, attracts some of the leading trainers and horses from across the country.
Boasting a glittering roll of honour comprising some of the most acclaimed horses in history, this race is the final leg of the esteemed British 'Triple Crown' comprising three British Classic races – the Newmarket 2000 Guineas, the Epsom Derby, and finally, the Betfred St Leger Stakes. Winning all three Group 1 races is considered the greatest achievement in Thoroughbred horse racing and was last achieved by Nijinsky in 1970.
The St Leger Stakes is open to three-year-old colts and fillies and is run over a mile and six furlongs. With previous winners including Kew Gardens, Logician, and Simple Verse, it offers the perfect opportunity to see some of the very best three-year-old horses in action.
Jan Brueghel and Sean Levey were triumphant for Aiden O'Brien in a dominant display to win the St Leger Stakes in 2024. Who will win the final Classic of 2025? 🤔
