Today, Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) has appointed Antony Hopkins as its Director of International Markets.
Hopkins leaves SIS after thirteen years, ten of which as Head of International Business. At SIS Hopkins led on the development of a horse and greyhound racing channel for the newly regulated Spanish market and was involved in rights acquisition for live and virtual content in a number of diverse locations across the world, including the Caribbean, Indian sub-continent, Russia, Iraq, Latvia, Latin America, and the Far East. Prior to joining SIS, Hopkins spent nearly twenty years in the technology sector where he held senior positions with BT and Mitel.
Hopkins commented: “I am delighted to be joining a business that is totally focused on the customer and which values its people. ARC’s Director of Media Technology and Production, Mark Kingston, said: “We are delighted to welcome Antony to the team. His years of experience of international markets will be of great assistance to us as the business continues to grow, both its customer base and product offering.”
Hopkins will start with ARC in September.
