On the sad news of the passing of leading racehorse owner and former shareholder in Arena Leisure Ltd, Trevor Hemmings, the Chairman of Arena Racing Company, David Thorpe, said, “Trevor was, above everything, a gentleman and an astute businessman. He had no airs and graces and was a friend to so many, in all walks of life.
He was a great supporter of National Hunt racing and contributed so much to the sport over many years. As a shareholder in Arena Leisure Ltd, Trevor helped the management team so much in growing the business. Monthly reviews with him were good training for any CEO!
