Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) can confirm that they will continue to offer support to greyhound trainers based at their five stadia during the period of suspension of racing from today (Tuesday 14 April) for the two-week period up to, and including, Monday 27 April.
Trainers at Belle Vue, Newcastle, Nottingham, Perry Barr and Sunderland will continue to receive £5 per dog per week to help support the welfare needs of greyhounds in their kennel who are unable to race during this time.
This support has been in place for an initial three-week period throughout which racing has been suspended and will again be reviewed at the end of this further two-week period.
