Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) is delighted to confirm it will be the title sponsor of the 2017 Moorcroft Masterminds Quiz.

The ever popular evening will once again take place at the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone, London on Thursday 20 April 2017. The event sees teams made up of organisions across racing tackle eight rounds of varied topics including Music & Art, TV & Films, Sport, Politics and Current Affairs all vying to win the coveted 2017 ARC Moorcroft Masterminds title and trophy.

Previously the evening has been sponsored by Betfair and last year helped raise over £40,000 for the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre, a charity established in order to find permanent homes for racehorses that were no longer suited to the job of racing.

The Black Tie occasion will be hosted by Nick Luck and Gina Harding and start at 7.15pm with a champagne reception, followed by dinner, the quiz and extra surprise fun! The quiz runs throughout dinner and during the evening each team is allowed to play up to three Wild Cards. This means when the card is played all points scored during that round will be doubled – something that can be crucial when determining the victorious team.

Chief Executive of the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre, Tim Fox, said: “We are delighted ARC have come on board to sponsor next year’s quiz. It’s always a really fun evening and as our biggest fundraiser of the year is enormously important to the charity. I would like to thank Betfair for their years of support for which we are very grateful.”

Chief Executive of Arena Racing Company, Martin Cruddace, said: “Caring for and rehoming ex-racehorses is very important to the sport and ARC is thrilled to have the opportunity to show its support for the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre. I hope everyone will book a table at what is always a top evening. Good luck to everyone that takes part but ARC will be going all out to win!”

Tables for 10 people cost £2,000. For full information and to book a table please contact Christina Dunlop on 07968 830 443 or
