£75,000 Final to be run on Monday 15 August
Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) and Royal Windsor Racecourse are delighted to announce Sky Bet as the headline sponsor of the new Summer Sprint Series.
The Sky Bet Summer Sprint Series will consist of nine qualifying races run over five and six furlongs, the first of which takes place this evening and will continue predominantly on the popular Monday night fixtures at Royal Windsor.
Each race will be worth at least £10,000, including two £20,000 handicaps. The Sky Bet Summer Sprint Series Final will take place over six furlongs on Monday 15 August and be worth £75,000. To qualify to enter the final, horses will be required to finish in the top six in at least one of the qualifying races.

Royal Windsor Racecourse celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2016 and to celebrate the Racecourse has worked with Windsor and Eton Brewery to commission the bespoke ‘1866’ beer, which will be available at the racecourse throughout the summer.
To celebrate The Queen’s 90th Birthday, Royal Windsor Racecourse will tonight host a Shetland pony race in which jockeys will wear her distinctive silks and the runners temporarily renamed in honour of her most famous horses and on 16 May hold a Celebration Racenight which will include an exhibition of Her Majesty’s racing interests.
Royal Windsor Racecourse is also delighted to welcome leading flat trainer Andrew Balding back as their Monday night racing ambassador. In this role Andrew will be marking the card ahead of each evening fixture via his regular Monday morning column - Baldings Bankers, which will feature at www.windsor-racecourse.co.uk.
