Sirius Prospect, trained by Dean Ivory, was held up in fourth by Robert Winston in the 10-runner £40,000 Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq EBF Stallions Hyde Stakes before challenging in the straight and going to the front with over a furlong remaining.

The five-year-old son of Gone West, sent off at 8/1, held on in the Listed event despite both Bertiewhittle (8/1) and Galician (14/1) coming with good runs, prevailing by a head and short-head in 1m 37.45s for the mile at Kempton Park.

Sirius Prospect, who finished third in the same race last year, now qualifies for the All-Weather Championships Finals Day as this was the fourth Win & Youre In race. He is guaranteed a place with free entry in the £150,000 Ladbrokes Mile Final at Lingfield Park on Good Friday, April 18, 2014.

Dean Ivory commented afterwards: It is a bit early yet to be thinking about whether he will run in the final, but we will give him a break now and bring him back next year.

We must seriously look at the final as he has delighted us by the way he has won; staying on strongly over a mile.

He finished third in this race last year so there was no doubt he got a mile but it was a question of whether he could show his best form at the distance.

Sirius Prospect is a stronger and better horse this year as well as being very genuine.

The 5/4 favourite Graphic finished fifth.

As well as by taking a Win & Youre In race, horses qualify for the six championship contests on All-Weather Championships Finals Day by running in a minimum of three races at Britains All-Weather tracks - three owned by ARC, Lingfield Park, Southwell and Wolverhampton, and The Jockey Clubs Kempton Park - between October 26 and April 12.
